The Museum has benefited from a major donation from Bob Sifferd, one of the great competitors in the First Place Trophy in the famed Revell-Pactra contest (1962-63). Bob won with his famed, futuristic El Camino called Telstar.
Bob told us that he hadn’t unpacked his trophy since 1963. Before he shipped the trophy, he reassembled it to make sure all of the parts were there. Check out these two vintage articles on Bob:

We will do some research on Bob – there’s a major article on him in the February 1964 issue of Car Model magazine. We will scan the articles and upload them soon.
The Museum is honored to feature the work of Bob – one of the greatest builders in the history of our hobby!
