It’s hard to over-estimate the incredible influence Jim Keeler has had on the hobby. From his probable first article in a mid-1961 issue of Rod and Custom and stretching thereafter even until today (in his Eighties, Jim is still building really good models), Jim’s professional/commercial and “building” provenance in the hobby almost an be measured because of the width and depth of his efforts.
Jim is one of our hobby’s leading advocates. Whether we are considering his work with Revell in the early Sixties (when he developed the Revell Parts Packs, the Roth line of wild models, or the Challenger I model), or later as product manager at Aurora models, or considering his great models, Keeler literally resculpted the hobby landscape. We’re pleased here to present several of his famous models, with more features to come!
